Product Director

Vyne is changing the way we pay and get paid, combining Open Banking rails, data  and real time payments to create transformational value for our customers.

We are entering a new exciting phase of global growth and now looking for a Director of Product to take ownership of defining and delivering our roadmap as we group into new propositions and territories.

You will be responsible for defining and prioritising new product developments with the leadership team as well as building and structuring the team around you to deliver this. You will work with high autonomy but also collaboratively - working with cross-functional teams across the organisation and across markets.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, analytical and entrepreneurial, with a strong track record of success in on-line payments and banking. This is a high impact role, reporting directly to the CEO, that will directly shape our success and will be rewarded accordingly.


Responsibilities:
Together with executive team, define our product strategy & roadmap to serve our vision and mission for smarter, faster payments,
Organise and build the team to support global and regional product goals in line with company strategy and value proposition.
Co-own the short and long-term product priorities and roadmap to serve our core values
Build deep understanding of our customers’ needs and partner with our commercial team to incorporate quantitative and qualitative data  into product iterations and optimization roadmaps.
Ensure we work closely with customers to understand market requirements. The person in this role is expected to take initiative in ensuring cross-functional alignment on all key features and enhancements.
Support our go-to-market as a product evangelist, ensuring the organisation has deep understanding  of our products and support customers  realise maximum value
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of product features
Deliver reporting and analysis to show efficiency and value in existing and new products and features
Optimise features and products to deliver greater value over time
Support product marketing activities

Experience:
Exceptional knowledge of the payments industry, preferably start up
Experience in Open banking, A2A preferred, from inception to launch
Track record in leading teams across multiple products and markets
Experience building innovative products from concept to market launch and beyond

Other special requirements
The successful candidate will need to work from the United Kingdom and be able to commute to the London office regularly (1-2 times a week)
